If you have been following the How To Website step by step website creation guide you should have already registered a domain and purchased your web hosting, providing you have not opted to choose a hosting provider with a ‘Website Builder’ you have chosen to build your website yourself from scratch or by using a pre-made template.

Either option you choose i would advise you to learn a little bit about HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). If you are unfamiliar with these terms please do not be put off because all is explained below in the guides provided and video tutorials.

Building a website using a Pre-Made Template

One of the fastest and easiest ways to set up a website is by using a website template, this is to put simply a readymade website that can be used instead of designing one yourself from scratch, you just simply insert your text and graphics and your away.

This allows you to have all of the features (as described in the section here) instantly without having to pay someone else.

Building a website from scratch

Instead of actually beginning from scratch I recommend you start with something be it only a blank HTML and CSS sheet which defines the bare bones of what you will need.
