1. Firstly click HERE to open LunarPages website (LunarPages are an excellent 5 star rated web hosting provider click here to read my review on LunarPages)

2. You will now see the following page or something similar depending on how often they update their homepage, simply click the "More Info" button highlighted in red: -

3. The next page as shown below lists all of the features and functionality that come with the hosting package selected. As you can see there is a whole array of features available for such a low price. Take a look through the features and functionality and then proceed to select the "Sign Up Now" button : -

4. If you are not already a user enter your "Name" and "Email Address", then ensure the option "I already have a domain name" is selected under the heading "Choose A Domain", proceed by entering the domain name you have just purchased into the space provided (also highlighted in red). Furthermore choose a "Billing Cycle" that suits you. You do have the option to add "Additional Features" to your account. Finally select green "Submit Button" at the bottom of the page.

5. On this page as shown below enter your personal account information, name, address etc.

6. On the next part of this form complete the payment form and click the green "Submit Button".

12. Congratulations, you have successfully purchased your own web hosting. Shortly after you will receive a confirmation email from LunarPages.

IMPORTANT Next Steps!

1. After you have signed up with LunarPages they will send you an email with all of your host account details. Within this email you should find a piece of information on your "name servers". The email and "name server" information within this email will look something like this : -

2. Now you need to log into your 123-Reg Account by selecting the "log in to your control panel" Button as shown below, after this a "connect to www.123-reg.co.uk" box will appear, proceed to enter your username and password and click "Ok" : -

3. Once you have successfully logged into your account, scroll down to where it says "Manage Domains", Ensure your new domain name is highlighted in the drop down box as shown below and click "Modify Domain" : -

4. Select "Change Nameservers" : -

5. Now refer back to the email mentioned earlier and proceed to highlight the first name server in the email, "right click" it and then select "copy" as shown below : -

6. Then refer back to your 123-Reg Change NAME Server Page and completely delete all of the detail currently in the boxes, so it should look like : -

7. Then "right click" the first empty box and select "paste" : -

8. Now proceed to do the same with the remaining name server so you populate both empty boxes, then select "Change Nameservers", you should now have something like this : -

9. Upon successful completion you will receive the below confirmation message : -

10. Congratulations you have now successfully linked your domain name to your website. Please note that it could take up to 48 hours for your domain name to link to your host.
